The Showcase is a very informative college fair representing colleges and educational organizations from across the nation. Admission representatives will be available to discuss undergraduate programs, admission and financial aid requirements and the “college experience.” There will also be a series of workshops on topics ranging from college planning, standardized test preparation and securing scholarships and financial aid. Don’t miss your chance to win great prizes, including an HBCU tour! This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing higher education.

The 6th Annual Prince George's Classic will be a match-up between two of the CIAA's best football programs – the Bowie State University Bulldogs and the defending CIAA Champions, Shaw University Bears. The close proximity of each school to Prince George's County coupled with the very strong area alumni groups will create an exhilarating atmosphere.

Affectionately known as the “Fifth Quarter” among historically black colleges and universities, the halftime show should prove to be just as competitive and entertaining as the football game. Shaw University’s marching band, “Platinum Sound,” will battle against Bowie State’s “The Symphony of Soul.” Each band will seize the field with flair, showmanship, and pride as they compete for bragging rights by showcasing their amazing musical skills and talents.
